Water Babies Instructors
(Renton, Bellevue, Kirkland locations)
Water Babies instructors coach parents on the techniques to teach their child safety and basic swim skills. Instructors use songs and games to teach parents the techniques while parents do most of the handling of their child in the water.
Requirements: Must be comfortable working with parents and babies 3mo – 3yrs, have a love of the water, are reliable and have good communication skills. Previous swim instruction experience helpful, but not required as we train in Waterbabies method and technique.
Water Kids Instructors
(Renton location)
Water Kids instructors work with 1-3 students to develop basic swim and safety skills. They build a strong foundation for the strokes by working with breathing exercises, correct body alignment, building core body strength, and introducing propulsion.
Requirements: A minimum of 1 year experience working with children 3-5 yrs. of age; swim team or swim instruction background desired but not required for this position as we will train in method and technique. Must be comfortable working with young children, playful yet focused, and confident instructing others. You need to have a love of water, flexible schedule, and reliable transportation.
Adult Swim Instructors
(Renton location)
Have you been a swimmer all your life, participated on a swim team, or were a previous swim instructor? Do you enjoy working with adults?
Requirements: A minimum of one year swim team or experience teaching adult lessons. Comfort and knowledge of all the strokes.
All Positions Must Be: Available to work evenings/ weekends and a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. CPR/ First Aid and Lifeguard Certification required within 3 months of hire. Proof of vaccination.
